Privacy Notice
Effective August 27, 2026
Rev Pop Inc. (“Rev Pop,” “we”), including our print business Manifold Printery, operates The Portal that we use to run our studio: projects, client collaboration, team administration, and our own bookkeeping. This notice explains what information The Portal handles and how we treat it. It applies to our employees, our clients’ authorized contacts, and outside partners who sign in here.
What we collect
Account basics. Your name and email address, used to sign you in and identify your work. Staff sign in with company Google accounts; clients and partners sign in with emailed links — we never see or store passwords.
Work content. Projects, tasks, comments, approvals, and files shared through The Portal in the course of working together.
Employment records (employees only): time, scheduling, compensation, and pay documents, handled under strict role-based access.
Billing and payments.
Invoices and payment records for our client work. Online payments are processed by Stripe — card and bank details are entered on Stripe’s systems and never touch ours.
Our own financial account data. For Rev Pop’s internal bookkeeping we connect Rev Pop’s own bank and card accounts through Plaid. This is data about the company’s accounts, connected by authorized Rev Pop personnel who consent at connection time through Plaid Link. Plaid’s handling of that connection is described in Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy.
Activity records.
An audit trail of sign-ins and sensitive actions, kept for security.
How we use it
To do the work: run projects, communicate with you, invoice and get paid, administer employment, keep the company’s books, and keep the platform secure. That is the whole list.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for advertising. There is no ad tracking on The Portal.
Who touches it
Access inside Rev Pop is role-based and least-privilege: people see only what their role requires, and access to sensitive records is individually logged. Beyond Rev Pop, data is handled only by the service providers that run the platform: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Google Workspace and Google Drive (identity, email, files), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Plaid (financial account connections for our own bookkeeping), Twilio (delivery of calls and text messages on our business phone line), and Anthropic (AI-assisted drafting of internal project briefs). Each receives only what its function needs. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How it’s protected
All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+); all stored data is encrypted at rest by our managed infrastructure. Sign-in uses Google single sign-on with multi-factor authentication for staff and single-use, expiring email links for clients and partners. Deactivating any account revokes its access immediately. Our security program is documented in our Information Security Policy, owned by our President.
How long we keep it
Work content is kept for the life of our relationship and a reasonable archival period. Financial and employment records are kept as long as tax and employment law require. Financial account data imported for bookkeeping is kept only as long as needed for accounting purposes. When data is no longer needed and no legal duty requires keeping it, it is deleted.
Your choices and rights
Email scott@revpop.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion. We respond within 30 days. Where a legal obligation requires us to retain something (tax records, for example), we will say so. Disconnecting a Plaid-linked account stops future data collection from it, and you may also revoke Plaid connections through Plaid’s own tools.
Text messaging
If you call or text our business phone number, we keep the conversation — messages, voicemails, and your phone number — so our team can respond and pick up where we left off. Texting with us is always your choice: you start the conversation, and replying STOP at any time ends it (reply HELP for help). Message frequency varies with the conversation; message and data rates may apply.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except with Twilio, our messaging provider, solely to deliver the messages. Cookies
The Portal uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (like light or dark mode). No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies exist here.
Changes and contact
